Here is my list of books on leadership, military or other, that I’ve read and will recommend to anyone who wants to become a better leader and develop a “5,000 year old mind.” There are two parts: What I’m Reading Now, which contains – you guessed it – the leadership book I’m reading right now. The second tier is books I’ve read or plan to read as part of my self study and professional development. This list will be continually updated and expanded – Hope you enjoy.
What I’m Reading Now:
Books I recommend:
Grant’s Memoirs: One of the finest memoirs written by an American General, read this one for the stories woven into every page with valuable life lessons on leadership and combat.
Taking the Guidon: A must for any aspiring leader, small business owner, executive, and everyone else. I’ve highlighted a lot of passages in this book that I’ll use when it’s my turn to “take the guidon.”
Small Unit Leadership – A Common Sense Approach: Here is a book for leaders of small teams, inside and outside of the military alike.
If you buy a book using the links above, I’ll get a small commission from Amazon. This is transparent to you and does not affect your cost or raise the price of the book. The money earned through this commission supports the publication of this blog.
