This blog is a place to gather thoughts on personal finance.
It is not a promise to get rich quick.
Financial freedom may take a decade or longer for me to achieve. In the intervening years, between now and then, I want to encourage others to not feel helpless and hopeless when it comes to reaching that goal.
Many times, we compare our progress to others and wonder “what if”… What if we had started saving in our twenties or thirties? What if we had saved more?
I definitely find myself in this category.
I get envious over the success of others. That is something I will struggle over, fight with, and one day (by God’s grace) overcome.
This place should not be about making an idol out of money.
I think I have a tendency to do that, and I recognize that money won’t solve most problems. It is not the be all end all solution. Oftentimes it draws my focus away from that which is most important in my life. People and relationships.
There is, however, value in money and managing it well.
Faithful Dividends will encourage you and I to do just that. It will keep me accountable. I am not perfect when it comes to money – and I openly admit to being a hypocrite. I will strive to “do what I say I will do.”
Money hypocrites unite.
Welcome to Faithful Dividends.
